After a long flight from LA, we arrived in the evening and enjoyed a soothing cocktail and appetizers at the hotel’s Bar Collins by the beach. The totally remodeled property is quite sleek and modern, fitting in with the glitzy South Beach vibe. The lovely 5 star property is right on the beach and offers one of the most coveted locations in South Beach. Close enough to all the action, yet far enough away to relax and enjoy some privacy.

The breakfast buffet has an array of options from made to order omelets and waffles to fruit and pastries. Bar Collins is the perfect place to grab a quick bite or enjoy some cocktails with friends.

Head down the block to Joes Stone Crab for dinner. The local institution has a no reservation policy so arrive early or prepare to wait for those exquisite crab legs.

Wynwood Walls. The up and coming arts district is booming with trendy boutiques and funky restaurants, perfect for a night out.

Art crawl through Wynwood was definitely a highlight. Every second Saturday of the month, restaurants, galleries and shops open their doors after hours, creating Miami’s most exciting block party. Whether you are foodie or an art geek, this is a must place to visit.
